Don't answer this until you have completed the social studies assignment for the day.
Americans have been driven to explore and expand from the very moment that they stepped off the boats from Britain. Westward expansion was always our goal, but when we reached it, then what? Today's discussion question is: Should countries stay in/on their own territory, or should they continue to expand their own boarders, across oceans in order to acquire new territories? In your answer, you should explain WHY you feel this way. This answer should be well thought out and well explained. (HINT: That means I am looking for more than just one or two sentences. Remember, this is supposed to be taking the place of a class discussion. Let's discuss!

I have ALWAYS been a procrastinator. [pro-cras-ti-na-tor noun a person who habitually puts off doing things] As I get older, I am getting a little bit better with this, and I have started to procrastinate a little bit less. I decided to make that the topic of this first blog. This is the spot, for now, where we will communicate as a large group. I am curious to see how you are going to take care of the daily assignments that will be given to you. What do you think you will do? Will you get all of your work done early? Will you spread it out over the course of the day as if you were in school? Will you wait until the last minute to submit it? (not suggested) Let's see how it goes with this first blog. Respond with your name and an idea of how you will do your "distance learning" work along with a brief (one or two sentences) explanation of why you do it in that manner.
