What did you eat for dinner last night? Who prepared it? If it wasn't you, did you say thank you?

Who was your favorite character from Of Mice and Men? Why? Who was your least favorite character from Of Mice and Men? Why?
Your blog post today will only be one word. That's right, you read it correctly...Just one single, solitary word. I want you to think of a word that when you hear it, it makes you giggle because of the sound of it. (No inappropriate words, please! We're still in school.) My word is SQUID.
.You only have to write one sentence that is made up of five to seven words. Sounds simple, right? The catch is that each word must begin with the same letter. [ex. Biff bought Bob buttery banana bread.]
Yesterday's blog topic was actually an accident! What happened was that only the title posted and not my explanation so you really had no idea what I was looking for.Yet, you ran with it and you gave some of your best answers...I loved them! They were so open and honest, and I truly enjoyed reading them. Thank you for that! Here is what I really meant to give you. How do you view movies and shows at home other than "regular" TV? You don't have to write full sentences for this one. Just list the things to which you currently have a subscription to or have acess to. For example, I have Netflix, Hulu, and Cablevision. Yes, I would like to know which cable provider you have. It will make things eaier if I ask you to watch something as part of your assignments.
Now that so many businesses have been forced to close up their workplaces, many people are finding themselves stuck working form home. Personally, I am teaching school classes for you guys, and I am also teaching online dance classes for my studio so I feel like I am constantly walking around my house with some device in my hand. How many devices do you currently have at home right now on which you can do work? (laptop, cell phone, iPad, mom's computer...) With how many other people do you have to share this/these device(s)? How is that working out? How good is the wifi in your house/apartment?
We have been using "distance learning" because we have to. We have Coronavirus to thank for that. However, people have been using this platform to take classes for years. Some students in college take classes online because it is cheaper and more time efficient for them. Some working parents take online classes because there is no way they would be able to find the time to leave their jobs and families, even for a few hours a week, to physically go back to school to get a better degree so they take online classes instead. I myself have taken a few online classes over the years so I have personally experienced the pros and the cons of distance learning. Some people love it. Some people despise it. For today's blog post, I only require two sentences, but they must be well thought out, well-written sentences. Tell me...What is the single best thing about distance learning? What is the single worst thing about distance learning? (ex. The best thing about distance learning is...")
Do not complete this blog post until you have completed your reading assignment. Steinbeck named his novel Of Mice and Men because of a line in the poem To a Mouse. Give me an alternate title for his novel and in one (1) sentence, explain why you chose this title.
Throughout history, people have been mistreated simply because of their race, their religion, their gender, or in some cases even their looks. As a class, we have studied it in our social studies classes over and over again. In Of Mice and Men, we see it happen as well given that the story takes place back in the 1930s. Think carefully before you answer this question and consider all of the things that you have learned before you offer your opinion. Throughout history, which group do you think was treated more unfairly/unjustly...women or minorities? Explain your answer. (This should be more than a two or three sentence answer. Be thorough. Again...You might not be "in" school, but this is still school!)
