What is the best piece of advice someone has given you? Who was the person who gave you the advice? Do you still follow his/her advice today? My mom always told me not to expect other people to act the same way I do because I would probably wind up disappointed. She told me that when I was in my 20s, and all these years later, I still try to follow that advice.

The best piece of advice I’ve gotten was from my mom, she told me that focusing on the negatives will aways give you nothing, so it’s better to focus on positive things. I still listen to her advice.

I’ve received a lot of great advice from many people. One was good advice was “Expectations from people lead to disappointments don’t expect anything from someone”. My grandma always tells me that. I try to listen to that as much as I can because she’s right!

My parents and sister are always giving me good advice. The best advice that I ever got was from my mom. She told me to be you wherever you are because that is you. The second best advice was from my grandma, she told me to treat others as I want to be treated. I still follow these advices today.

I get plenty of advice from my parents. One that really stuck out was from my mom. She said, "Work hard now, and play later." She used to tell me that was I was very young, and even up to now. It means that you should sacrifice some of your fun, to work and be successful in the future. Once you finally reach that goal, you can do whatever you'd like without having to worry about not being able to get what you essentially need.

Throughout my life I have heard plenty of advice from many different people. One piece of advice that I was given was from my mom. She said “Work hard now, it will only benefit you later in life.” I was told this at the latest age of eleven, and sometimes she even tells me that advice in present day. Working hard improves your intelligence and mind set. With a show of intelligence, it will impress people. This can benefit in future job opportunities and other important things in life.

My mom always tells me the right advice, but there were two pieces of advice that sticks to my mind. My mom tells me, “Hard work always pays off.” She told me this in March and ever since then, I remember this. My mom also tells me, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” She always tells me this because she knows I overthink and get upset over the smallest things. She wants me to know that there will be bigger problems in my life and I should just get over little things.

My parents are the number one source to get great advice from. One piece of advice they have given me is to take responsibility. You must learn how to take responsibility of your actions and be responsible for your work.

My parents and friends always give me advice I think the best advice I have ever got was that never to do two things at once. I am kind of a last minute type of guy. I pretty much do all my work the day before it’s due. Once I tried doing two assignments at once. I ended doing bad on the assignments. From that day forward I always took my assignments slow and steady.

My parents always share the things that there parents told them to do or not to do in life. One piece of advice they told me that problems that you created nobody is going to fix them you create the problem you fix it and some people think it’s like a harder way to the word responsibility and it is

My mom has always given me great advice. One day, in third grade, we were losing in our first volleyball game in the playoffs and she told me, " Don't give up, try your hardest." Even though we lost by one point in all three sets, my team and I were undefeated the following year. I still use that advice today. This year, my team went undefeated, but the virus ended our season.

If there was one piece of advice that someone gave me that advice was do not let anyone stop you from what you're doing. To this day, I still use that advice because this will forever stick to me and means a lot to me. The person that told me this was my Mom and my Dad.

When I was younger, I'd always expect the best outcome in things. One day my mom told me to always be prepared for the worst. I do my best to follow that advice today.
