Yesterday we were off because it was Memorial Day. It is a day we put aside to remember and honor military personnel who died while serving in any branch of the United States Armed Forces. Is there any family member or family friend who you remembered yesterday? If not, write a line or two of thanks to these service men and women for the sacrifice they made so that we can enjoy our freedom.

My grandpa, on my dad’s side, was a U.S navy veteran. I heard many stories from my dad about the wars my grandpa served in. Sadly, he died before I could ever meet him. I would like to take this moment to thank all the soldiers who have died serving for our country. I thank them for sacrificing their time for our safety and freedom.
